I've been using Pear Note for a while now and it's been a fantastic tool for taking and organizing my notes. However, since upgrading to macOS Ventura, I've encountered some sync issues that I haven't been able to resolve.
Here's a breakdown of the problem:
Issue:
Pear Note is no longer syncing notes across my devices. Previously, I could take notes on my MacBook and they would seamlessly appear on my iMac, but now the sync process seems to have stopped completely.
Steps I've Taken:
- Checked iCloud Settings: Verified that iCloud is enabled and syncing for Pear Note on both devices.
- Reinstalled Pear Note: Uninstalled and reinstalled Pear Note on both my MacBook and iMac.
- Updated Software: Made sure both Pear Note and macOS are updated to the latest versions.
- Restarted Devices: Restarted both devices multiple times to see if it resolves the issue.
Observations:
- When I create or edit a note on my MacBook, it doesn’t appear on my iMac.
- The notes that were previously synced before the macOS update remain on both devices but do not reflect any new changes.
- Other iCloud services (like Photos and Drive) are syncing without any issues.
Has anyone else encountered similar issues with Pear Note on macOS Ventura? Are there any specific settings or steps I might have missed that could help resolve this?
